Event Background: Our good friend and colleague, Lt. Col. Tom McKnight (USAF, Ret.) gives weekend pilot lessons at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Airport. He was kind enough to help us arrange a private open house for The SOS Club!Thanks Tom!

Club History:

"A spin-off of The Spin-Offs."

The Spin-Offs softball team was formed in April of 2009. The Team quickly drew players and fans from all over The Agency. However, in addition to ball games, The Team held social events such as happy hours, Oktoberfest visits, tennis games, etc. And as word of this fun group of people began to spread, the Team's roster of players and friends began to grow exponentially. So in September of 2009 - a mere five moths after its inception, The Team decided to create a social club off-shoot. A spin-off of The Spin-Offs!

In the words of respected DC sports-writer Francis A. Alston, "One can only wonder what is next for this fabled softball team!"
